Scaly Visual Product Builder
A visual product configurator for Shopify. Shoppers put a product together out of parts you already sell (a chain, the clasp on it, the pendants on that clasp) and watch it come together on a live preview while they choose. Every part enters the cart as your real product.
Shoppers see the piece before they buy
The preview stacks the product images on top of each other, in the right place. A pendant hangs where it belongs on the clasp, the clasp sits on the chain. Shoppers can drag parts onto other positions, zoom in and pan around. What they see is exactly what they order, and that is something most bundle apps cannot show.
Built from products you already sell
Every part is a product from your own catalog. Nothing about your catalog changes: you create no new SKUs, no combined products and no duplicate inventory. When the shopper adds to cart, each part becomes its own line item, so stock, prices, discounts, taxes and reports keep working exactly as before. Hidden line-item properties group the parts of one piece, so you can see in the order which parts belong together and where each one sits.
Set it up once: layers and anchor points
A builder is made of layers, one per step of the choice, such as Chains, Clasps and Pendants. Each layer knows what its parts hang on. Then you click the anchor points once on each product image: where the part hooks into its parent, and where the next parts hang on it. That holds for every combination, so you never draw a single combination by hand.
Add input fields where you need them, such as an engraving text, a choice of length or a gift note. They appear in the order under their own labels.
Not just jewellery
Charm necklaces and bracelets are the classic case, but nothing in the builder is specific to jewellery. The same structure fits a gift box with chosen contents, a watch of case, dial and strap, a bouquet, a furniture set: anything where the parts are products you already sell and the combinations are too many for Shopify variants.
No theme code
The builder is an app block. Add it to a page in the theme editor, pick the builder and save. Every Online Store 2.0 theme supports it. The storefront follows your shop language and ships in English, German, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
Plans
There is a free plan to start. Larger plans allow more builders, more products and more input fields; plans are billed through Shopify. Limits are only checked when you save. A live builder keeps running and shoppers are never affected. Details are in the documentation.
